This week is #WorkLifeWeek. Achieving a good work-life balance is something we at Control Group support and it doesn't just happen by accident. Companies need to have flexible working policies and procedures in place to support staff in striking a happy balance between work life and home life.
Here at Control Group our team is motivated by a supportive environment and we’re always ready to listen if staff need time out to care for loved ones or want to explore the possibility of flexible working. We recognise that exercise is important in maintaining physical and mental health too and so for those who like to work-out, we offer subsidised gym memberships. Regular quizzes, car park bike-a-thons, hikes in the countryside and seasonal treats are some of the other ways we help our staff to unwind. On a practical level we support our employees by running useful seminars too, such as the recent ‘Making the Most of your Money’ presentation delivered by a Financial Wellbeing Consultant from HSBC and healthy eating and nutrition workshops. Of course we offer a childcare voucher scheme and participate in the cycle to work scheme too.
